The Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Moldova organized a celebration on the occasion of the Sport Day for the year 2020 at the sport complex of the State Medical University with the participation of Mr. Hamad Bin Rashid Al-Athba, the Chargé d'Affaires a.i., Mr. Hamad Bin Khalid Alsheaibi - Second Secretary – at the Embassy and the staff of the Embassy. A football team composed of the faculty members and students from the Free International University of Moldova (ULIM) participated on the events which comprised Football- Volleyball and Table Tennis games. The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. stressed the role that the State of Qatar attaches to practicing sports at all levels and Qatar’s continued preparation to host the Football World Cup 2020.
