On Saturday, 25/9/2021, the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of Moldova participated in the activities of a mini-football tournament organized by a non-profit charitable organization called "Hospice Angelus Moldova" to help patients with cancer and incurable diseases, in which a number of embassies, government agencies, major companies and banks in the Republic of Moldova participated. The Chargé d’Affaires, Mr. Hamad bin Rashid Al-Athba, presented the Fair Play Cup with the State of Qatar’s logo printed on it and handed it over to the Fair Play team. The mission was also keen to put up a promotional board for the main stadiums where the World Cup matches will be held in Qatar 2022, as well as the distribution of promotional brochures that show the extent of development witnessed by the State of Qatar in all fields, including sports facilities and infrastructure, in preparation for this major event.
