The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of Moldova celebrated the National Sports Day, with the participation of embassy’s employees. The event was held in a public park in the capital, Chisinau. The activities included walking and running. Ambasada Statului Qatar în Republica Moldova a sărbătorit Ziua Națională a Sportului, cu participarea angajaților ambasadei. Evenimentul a avut loc într-un parc public în capitala Chișinău. Activitățile incluse au fost mersul pe jos și alergatul.

Mr. Hamad bin Rashid Al-Athba, Chargé d'Affairs at the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Moldova, received at the embassy in the capital Chisinau, His Excellency Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Dino Ostavciuc, Head of the “Ștefan Cel Mare” Police Academy of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Moldova and Her Excellency Lieutenant Colonel / Victoria Jitari, Director of the International Relations Department at the Academy. Mr. Hamad bin Rashid Al-Athba was awarded the Medal of Cooperation from the Academy of Ștefan Cel Mare and a certificate in the name of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of Moldova, in appreciation of the embassy’s efforts in developing cooperation and coordination between the Police College in the State of Qatar and the Stefan Cel Mare Academy in the Republic of Moldova. Domnului Hamad bin Rashid Al-Athba i-a fost acordată Medalia Cooperării din partea Academiei Ștefan Cel Mare și un certificat în numele Ambasadei Statului Qatar în Republica Moldova, ca apreciere a eforturilor ambasadei în dezvoltarea cooperării și coordonării dintre Colegiul de Poliție din Statul Qatar și Academia Ștefan Cel Mare din Republica Moldova.

Mr. Hamad bin Rashid Al-Athba, Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Moldova delivered a package of charitable aid to Mr. Mihail Mărgineanu, President of the General Authority of the Association of People with Special Needs in the Republic of Moldova, to distribute it to the beneficiaries, on the occasion of the celebration of the International Day for People with Special Needs on the third of December of every year, as it aims during this time to highlight the provision of various forms of support to this group of society, and this aid comes within the framework of the mission's keenness to provide a helping hand to people with special needs in the Republic of Moldova to face the challenges in their society, especially during the Coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19). Domnul Hamad bin Rashid Al-Athba, Însărcinatul cu afaceri al Ambasadei Statului Qatar în Republica Moldova, a livrat un lot de ajutor caritabil Dlui Mihail Mărgineanu, Președintele Societății Invalizilor din Republica Moldova, pentru a fi distribuit beneficiarilor, cu ocazia sărbătoririi Zilei Internaționale a Persoanelor cu Dizabilități, în data de 3 decembrie a fiecărui an, întrucât își propune în această perioadă să asigure diverse forme de sprijin acestui grup al societății, iar acest ajutor vine în contextul dorinței misiunii de a oferi o mână de ajutor persoanelor cu nevoi speciale din Republica Moldova pentru a face față provocărilor din societate, în special în timpul pandemiei de coronavirus (Covid -19).
