The Moldovan-Qatari Friendship Association held a reception on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, on the occasion of its inauguration, attended by the Ambassador of the State of Qatar and the members of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Moldova, in addition to the President and members of the Friendship Society, as well as a number of guests including Mr. Iurie Leancă, Former Prime Minister of Moldova.

The ceremony was opened by a speech by the President of the Friendship Society, Victor Țvircun, the former non-resident ambassador to the State of Qatar, in which he welcomed the audience and praised the good relations between the Republic of Moldova and Qatar. He also stated that the purpose of the establishment of this association is to strengthen bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two friendly peoples, and the interest of the two countries.

HE Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Malki, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Moldova, delivered a speech in which he praised the importance of establishing the Moldovan-Qatari Friendship Association as a close link between the two friendly peoples of Qatar and Moldova and a bridge of culture to consolidate bilateral cooperation frameworks.

The ceremony was filled with a spirit of regard and friendship among all those present.
